Description
In response to the Bouchard Finlayson competition in 2020, with the theme "Biomimicry - design from nature" I constructed the piece "EBB AND FLOW".I found inspiration for the design on my daily walks from lines and patterns in dry, cracked earth, tree trunks, water puddles, wild grass, animal footprints, quills left by porcupines and bird feathers. The piece was one of a limited number juried in to the competition. Materials - Hand dyed and printed material combined with some commercial fabrics . Back to the exhibition
