Title: The Golden Ten

Description: The X in the centre is the roman symbol for the number 10.

Dimensions: 85cm x 71cm

Materials: It is constructed by golden chocolate wrapping, machine stitched to shrinking fabric and then shrinked. The centre piece is hand stitched and the frame free machine embroidered.

Title: Ice Cold

Description: This piece was created in winter 2005/6. It was my first winter in Germany after 4 years in South Africa and it seemed that it would not find an end. It was so cold and icy over a four month period.

Dimensions: 30cm x 20cm

Materials: It is assembled from various commercial whites and off whites, embellished with melted plastic of different qualities and embroided by hand.
