Title: Aquarius day dreaming.

Description: My concerns are with the environment. Where I live, this summer (January, February and March in the southern hemisphere) has produced the sort of relentless heat and drought that makes the prospect of ‘global warming’ pretty convincing. Aquarius, the water carrier, is supposed to get active according to the zodiac in some way after the 21st of January. This year he didn’t.

I am a fibre artist working in mixed media. I use ‘found’ objects that reflect what I try to say.

Title: Too deep, too near

Description: I have been contemplating 'change', this thing that is always with us, predictable in its unpredictability.
Mostly we are not even aware of it, often we delight in it, we can accept its challenge, we can think of it as an abstract, something that happens somewhere else, something to be ignored if possible.
